Cincinnati Reds Game April 11,2012….This year at SHC of Georgetown, we started a Bucket List for our residents. We had the honor of taking six of our residents for their FIRST Reds game. Price Taylor made the journey with us at the age of 101. He recieved an official Reds Certificate for that achievement and the others recieved one in honor of their first time at a Reds Game.
Easter Egg Hunt April 5……Thanks to everyone who came out for our Egg Hunt. It was a success and we look forward to seeing everyone back next year!
We are excited to announce our new partnership with Hometown Manor. We will be hosting Tai-Chi classes in our multi purpose room. Classes are held every other Monday @ 10am. Next Class will be on April 2, 2012 . All are welcome to attend.
As a Registered Nurse of 25 years, Margo Bisset knows what it takes to deliver quality care. Just to provide some history, she is a nurse at the Hospice Care Center at St. Joseph Main hospital. She admitted her mother from Cardinal Hill to our existing 50-bed unit, unsure whether she would recover to the point that she could return home. She has since been able to return to her own apartment, and was just such a pleasure to get to know and care for.
